Tiffany Micek, LSW
“The only way out is through" ~ Robert Frost
As a practitioner, Tiffany holds space for others to journey through their wounds as they seek healing. Tiffany has 10+ years of experience serving others as they transcend along their wellness journey.
Tiffany places a focus on the holistic self; as it is imperative to recognize and understand the multi-faceted components of each individual and how the other intersectionalities of self influence the process of one’s healing.
Tiffany is a Licensed Social Worker with a Master of Social Work and a concentration in Mental Health received from the University of Illinois Chicago. Additionally, Tiffany received a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a minor in Latino/a Studies from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. Tiffany believes life is a lot like rock climbing, in that, it is necessary to have a belay person in order to guide and support one as they flee on their journey/route. Essentially, therapy can be seen as another form of rock climbing, and as a therapist Tiffany finds herself to be part of an individual's belay team, fostering safe spaces to be ultimately vulnerable and facilitating spaces that curate healing.
Tiffany has experience working with individuals who experience anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, suicidal ideations, relationship conflicts, low self-esteem, body dysmorphia & much more. Truly, it would be an honor to be a part of your belay team!
