Jennifer Steinberg
LCSW
Hi there, I’m Jennifer
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker currently working as a young adult group therapist in an IOP/PHP program and I am excited to enter the individual therapy space! I earned my Master of Social Work from Erikson Institute, with a specialization in Youth, Families, and Communities.
I have experience working with teens and young adults navigating depression, anxiety, complex mental health challenges, grief and loss, life transitions, and substance use concerns. My approach is rooted in child development and grounded in the belief that therapy should feel supportive, approachable, and collaborative. I work alongside clients to explore practical tools and strategies that fit into their lives, while also building insight into underlying patterns, beliefs, and behaviors. I use evidence-based , including DBT and ACT, and developmentally informed interventions and strive to make therapy feel less intimidating through clear language, humor, and genuine connection.
As someone who has been—and continues to be—on my own healing journey, I understand how important it is to have a space where you feel safe, respected, and truly understood. I see therapy as a place for exploration, growth, and flexibility. With curiosity and compassion, I hope to walk alongside you in creating a life that feels fulfilling, balanced, and meaningful to you.

THE LIVING PONO APPROACH
in life, Pono stands for righteousness and balance
In Hawaiian, if a person is living Pono, it means that they have struck the right balance within themselves, with other things, places, and the people in their lives.
We take that same approach when helping you to grow.
