Kyle Rayome

Intern

Hi there, I’m Kyle

I am a counseling intern pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at National Louis University, scheduled to graduate in the fall of 2026.  I work with adolescents and adults with a commitment to walking alongside clients with compassion, respect, and genuine care. I use a person-centered, empathetic approach to create a safe, non-judgmental space where people can feel heard and understood. Drawing from a strong educational foundation, I integrate a variety of evidence-based approaches to meet the unique needs of each client.

With the skills I have gained both personally and professionally, my technique comes from a trauma-informed perspective, sensitive to the ways past experiences can affect current challenges.  I am intentional about fostering safety, trust, and empowerment. My work is also guided by multicultural understanding, honoring the diverse experiences, identities, and worldviews clients bring to the therapeutic relationship. By blending these perspectives into an integrated approach, I strive to help clients navigate life challenges, discover their strengths, and move toward meaningful growth and healing.

THE LIVING PONO APPROACH

in life, Pono stands for righteousness and balance

In Hawaiian, if a person is living Pono, it means that they have struck the right balance within themselves, with other things, places, and the people in their lives.

We take that same approach when helping you to grow.

to help you to begin Living Pono
