Latoi Bennett

M.Ed, MSW, LSW

Hi there, I’m Latoi

I am a Licensed Social Worker. After spending years in early education and receiving my first Master’s Degree in Childhood Development, I decided to do something different and choose a new career path which led me to social work. While being in a classroom setting for about 10 years and after having my own daughter, I decided that I wanted to do more and earned my second Master’s Degree in Social Work from Erikson Institute.

Throughout my graduate studies, I have spent time working with children, adolescents, and adults working on improving their mental health and behavior modification/adjustment. As I continue my career, my plan is to continue to get extensive training in various modalities that will help me meet the needs of the individuals, groups, and couples that I work with.

My hope is that I can create an environment that will allow you to understand your true self, your relationships, and past experiences that led you to where you are today. I do not want to “fix” you, I am here to listen to you, guide you, and provide you with the tools you need to continue to be your best authentic self. I know that opening up can be difficult, but my hope is that you can accept my support and guidance which will give you the strength to move forward.

THE LIVING PONO APPROACH

in life, Pono stands for righteousness and balance

In Hawaiian, if a person is living Pono, it means that they have struck the right balance within themselves, with other things, places, and the people in their lives.

We take that same approach when helping you to grow.
