Hi there, I’m Nicola

I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Counseling at Northwestern University, with an expected graduation date of March 2027.

I am dedicated to fostering a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where individuals feel empowered to explore their experiences and begin the healing process. I encourage clients to show up as their authentic selves and strive to create a space where they feel genuinely welcomed.

My approach is grounded primarily in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and person-centered principles. I place strong value on building therapeutic relationships rooted in trust, authenticity, and growth, and I aim to create an environment where clients feel both safe and open to collaboration. In addition to my clinical training, I also work as a front desk associate, helping new clients with clinician placement, greeting visitors with a welcoming attitude, and am here to help with any questions or concerns they may have.

THE LIVING PONO APPROACH

in life, Pono stands for righteousness and balance

In Hawaiian, if a person is living Pono, it means that they have struck the right balance within themselves, with other things, places, and the people in their lives.

We take that same approach when helping you to grow.
