Hi there, I’m Nicole

I am a Licensed Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Aurora University, where I completed the forensic track. For more than a decade, I have worked in the nonprofit sector, supporting older adults through major life transitions and advocating for their care, dignity, and autonomy. Over time, my work has expanded to include supporting first responders and individuals impacted by domestic violence, walking alongside people during some of the most stressful, complex, and emotional moments of their lives.

As an EMDR-trained clinician, I strive to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and genuine, where you don’t have to have the “right words,” and there is no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. I believe healing happens when people feel understood and supported at their own pace. Together, we focus on helping you process difficult experiences in a way that feels manageable, while building insight, resilience, and practical tools you can carry into everyday life.

If you’re considering therapy, I know reaching out can feel like a big step. You don’t have to have everything figured out to get started. If this feels like it might be a good fit, I invite you to reach out. I would be honored to support you on your path toward healing and meaningful change.

THE LIVING PONO APPROACH

in life, Pono stands for righteousness and balance

In Hawaiian, if a person is living Pono, it means that they have struck the right balance within themselves, with other things, places, and the people in their lives.

We take that same approach when helping you to grow.
