Patrick O'Sullivan
LPC Intern | BA, CISM
Hi there, I’m Patrick
33 years of experience in emergency services, EMT on private ambulances, Firefighter/paramedic at River Grove FD, 9 years at the Chicago Fire Alarm Office, 18 years dispatching police and fire and Northwest Central Dispatch. I have experienced the highs and lows a career of service has to offer. I have stumbled, I have fallen, but with help I have persevered. I’m now hoping to be the help others can count on as they navigate their highs and lows.
I specialize in first responders, resiliency, and evidence-based trauma informed care to allow those in the first responder career to thrive over survive.
My priority is a safe, calm, and purposeful collaboration with clients to empower positive change. My approach is trauma informed, humanistic, and somatic driven believing the mind and body influence one another.
THE LIVING PONO APPROACH
in life, Pono stands for righteousness and balance
In Hawaiian, if a person is living Pono, it means that they have struck the right balance within themselves, with other things, places, and the people in their lives.
We take that same approach when helping you to grow.
